Cosy on the inside, sporty on the outside. This is how Etap's brand new flagship presented itself during the shipyard test drive. The unsinkable yacht also surprises with its conservative lines.
The 39s sets new standards, and not just for its size. It will probably set the lines for all other Etap yachts in the future. The distinctive, round deck edge is advantageous in modern GRP construction because it offers a very high degree of rigidity. The equipment is excellent and the sailing performance is above average. If only one double berth is accommodated aft, there are no problems with storage space; with two double berths, however, there is little space left in the two rather shallow forecastles.
The build quality is in keeping with the Etap style: almost flawless. The price of 300,000 marks in relation to the equipment is reasonable. Duck good - all good, we can summarise.
